Tallow is structurally similar to the skin’s own sebum, which is why many people find it absorbs well and feels non-greasy. Everyone’s skin is different — if you’re acne-prone, patch-test a small area first and start with a thin layer.

Is your tallow grass-fed, and where does it come from?

Yes — grass-range-fed tallow from cattle raised without added hormones or antibiotics, using specifically the kidney suet (the prized fat surrounding the kidneys), the cleanest, most nutrient-dense fat. Rendered and blended with organic ingredients in the USA.

How is your tallow rendered?

Gently rendered to preserve its natural fat-soluble vitamins (A, D, E, and K), then combined with organic oils. Small-batch, so texture can vary slightly jar to jar — a sign of a natural, minimally processed product.

What’s the difference between your tallow balm and tallow lotion?

The balm is a rich, concentrated, water-free formula — best for very dry areas and a protective finish. The lotions are lighter, easier to spread over larger areas, and come in targeted formulas (Moisturizing, Healing, Anti-Aging, Cellulite Reduction). Balm for intensive care, lotion for everyday all-over use.

How do I layer the Dead Sea Mineral Toner with tallow?

Use the toner first on clean skin for a mineral-rich, hydrating base, let it absorb, then follow with a tallow balm or lotion to seal in moisture and leave skin feeling soft and supple. Toner to hydrate, tallow to lock it in.

Why is your deodorant aluminum-free, and how does it work?

Our tallow deodorant skips aluminum and synthetic fragrance, using natural ingredients to help you stay fresh while the tallow base conditions delicate underarm skin. Available in Fresh and Lemon-Lime.

Why does my balm look or smell different between jars?

Tallow is natural, so color, firmness, and scent can vary slightly batch to batch, and unscented balm may develop a stronger natural odor over time — both normal and safe. Store cool (refrigerate for long-term); if it turns grainy, gently warm and let it re-set.
