Sauna Fix® • 240-Volt Replacement Bulbs

Restore Full Radiant Output to Your International Sauna Fix® Lamp

The Sauna Fix® 240-Volt Heat Lamp Bulbs are designed for compatible 220–240V Sauna Fix® lamp fixtures and provide visible red light together with near infrared, mid infrared, and far infrared wavelengths.

Sold as a set of four, these bulbs are ideal for replacing aging bulbs, maintaining even radiant output, or keeping a backup set available for international Sauna Fix® systems.

Set of 4 bulbs 240V compatibility 550–3000 nm spectrum Strong near-infrared output Immediate radiant heat International Sauna Fix® systems

Voltage-specific replacement set: These bulbs are intended only for compatible 220–240V Sauna Fix® fixtures. They must not be installed in a 120V lamp system.

Best for international replacement and maintenance

  • Replace burned-out bulbs
  • Refresh an older four-bulb set
  • Maintain balanced output across the fixture
  • Keep a spare set on hand
  • Use with compatible 220–240V Sauna Fix® lamps
  • Support regular home sauna use
Broad-spectrum radiant output

Red, near infrared, mid infrared, and far infrared wavelengths

Sauna Fix® bulbs emit energy across approximately 550 to 3000 nanometers, beginning in the visible red range and extending through near infrared, mid infrared, and far infrared wavelengths.

A substantial portion of the measured output falls within the near-infrared range. The bulbs also produce immediate radiant warmth because they are incandescent heat-lamp bulbs rather than decorative or low-heat light sources.

This broad output profile is designed to complement the Sauna Fix® lamp and radiant tent system.

Measured wavelength range

  • Visible red light
  • Near infrared
  • Mid infrared
  • Far infrared
  • Approximate total range: 550–3000 nm

Why use the matching 240V bulbs

Correct voltage, fit, spectrum, and radiant performance

Designed for 220–240V Systems

These bulbs are made for compatible Sauna Fix® fixtures used in countries and regions with 220–240V electrical service.

Matched Four-Bulb Set

Replacing all four bulbs together can help maintain balanced brightness and radiant heat across the fixture.

Immediate Radiant Heat

The incandescent bulbs begin producing visible light and radiant warmth as soon as the lamp is switched on.

Broad-Spectrum Output

The bulbs emit across red and multiple infrared wavelength bands rather than one narrow output range.

Compatible with Sauna Fix® Guards

The bulbs are intended for use inside the guarded Sauna Fix® lamp fixture.

Convenient Backup Set

Keeping replacement bulbs available helps reduce downtime if one fails unexpectedly.

How radiant sessions feel

Direct warmth begins before the enclosure air is fully heated

Incandescent heat lamps warm the body through radiant energy while also increasing the surrounding air temperature. This allows the session to begin without waiting for a long enclosure preheat cycle.

The enclosed temperature then continues to rise as the lamps operate and the radiant tent retains heat.

Actual performance varies: Lamp distance, body position, rotation, tent size, partition use, room temperature, ventilation, and session length all influence the experience.

Side-to-side use

Rotate for balanced radiant exposure

Sauna Fix® sessions commonly include rotating the body so the front, sides, and back receive direct radiant exposure at different times.

Alternating which side faces the lamp can create noticeable changes in local warmth and circulation. Sauna Fix® refers to this pattern as side-to-side blood shunting.

The most practical benefit is even exposure and reduced risk of keeping one body area too close to the bulbs for the entire session.

Simple rotation routine

  • Face the lamps briefly
  • Turn one side toward the lamps
  • Rotate to the back
  • Finish with the opposite side
  • Adjust timing to comfort
  • Stop if any area feels excessively hot
Replacement guidance

When to replace your 240V Sauna Fix® bulbs

Burned-Out Bulb

Replace any bulb that no longer illuminates or produces radiant heat.

Visible Damage

Do not use bulbs with cracked glass, loose bases, damaged contacts, or other physical defects.

Uneven Output

A noticeably dimmer bulb may create uneven light and heat across the fixture.

Repeated Flickering

Persistent flickering may indicate a bulb, socket, connection, or power issue that should be inspected.

Aging Set

Replacing all four bulbs at once can help restore more consistent output when the set has aged unevenly.

Before Important Use

Keep a tested spare set available when uninterrupted sauna access is important.

Installation

Install only when the lamp is unplugged and fully cool

  1. Turn off and unplug the Sauna Fix® lamp.
  2. Allow the fixture, guards, sockets, and bulbs to cool completely.
  3. Remove guards only as directed in the Sauna Fix® instructions.
  4. Unscrew the old bulb gently without applying excessive pressure to the glass.
  5. Inspect the socket for discoloration, looseness, debris, or damage.
  6. Confirm that the replacement bulb is marked for 220–240V use.
  7. Screw the bulb in until secure, but do not overtighten.
  8. Repeat for the remaining bulbs if replacing the full set.
  9. Reinstall all guards before use.
  10. Verify that cords remain clear of hot bulbs and guards.
  11. Turn the lamp on briefly and confirm that all four bulbs operate normally.

Never operate the lamp without its guards. Keep skin, hair, towels, clothing, cords, and flammable materials away from hot bulbs.

Eye protection

Wear properly rated protective glasses during use

Bright incandescent infrared bulbs produce intense visible and infrared output. Avoid staring directly at the bulbs and use protective eyewear rated for the applicable wavelength range.

IR Guardian® glasses are designed for near infrared sauna and blue-light protection and provide broad coverage with side shielding.

Protective habits

  • Wear properly rated eyewear
  • Do not stare directly into illuminated bulbs
  • Keep the eyes closed while facing the lamps if needed
  • Rotate regularly
  • Maintain the recommended distance

Energy use

Direct radiant heat without a long preheat cycle

A four-bulb Sauna Fix® fixture uses approximately 1 kilowatt-hour of electricity for each hour of operation, depending on the exact bulb and lamp configuration.

Because the bulbs produce radiant heat immediately, users can begin the session without first heating a large wooden enclosure for an extended period.

Operating cost varies: Multiply your local electricity price per kilowatt-hour by the lamp's approximate hourly use to estimate session cost.

International electrical compatibility

Confirm voltage, plug, frequency, and fixture compatibility

These bulbs are designed for compatible 220–240V Sauna Fix® fixtures. International electrical systems vary by country, including plug style, voltage, frequency, grounding, and circuit requirements.

The bulb voltage must match the lamp fixture and electrical supply. A travel plug adapter changes plug shape only; it does not convert voltage.

Bulb voltage 240 volts
Fixture compatibility Compatible 220–240V Sauna Fix® lamp fixtures
Bulbs per standard fixture Four
120V compatibility Not compatible with 120V Sauna Fix® fixtures
Travel adapter Does not convert voltage

Voltage matters: Never mix 120V and 240V bulbs or fixtures. Incorrect voltage can damage the lamp, bulbs, sockets, cords, or electrical system and may create a fire or shock hazard.
