Why purify the humid air inside a sauna tent?
Sauna-induced perspiration is used as part of wellness and detoxification routines because sweat can contain measurable amounts of toxic elements and environmental chemicals. Human studies have detected compounds such as arsenic, cadmium, lead, mercury, and bisphenol A in sweat, and reviews have described sweating as one pathway through which the body can eliminate certain xenobiotics and toxic elements.
Sauna heat can produce heavy perspiration in an enclosed, humid space. As sweat collects on the skin, towels, flooring, and nearby surfaces, the sauna environment may also hold sweat odors, moisture, VOCs, bacteria, skin debris, and airborne particulates.

For extended portable operation, we recommend a compatible 20,000 mAh external battery pack. Actual runtime depends on the battery's usable capacity, output specifications, condition, operating mode, cable efficiency, and other devices connected to it.
Battery operation is especially convenient inside a Sauna Fix® tent, beside a bed, in a vehicle, at a desk, in a hotel room, or during travel. The battery may be secured to the bottom or back of the unit with a suitable hook-and-loop fastener, provided the air outlet remains unobstructed.

Each unit ships with a stiff cleaning brush, and a once-weekly brushing takes about 15 seconds — the same quick habit that keeps plasma-ion output at full strength (see how to clean the Breathe Safe). A unit whose discharge plate has not been maintained is not covered, because an uncleaned plate is the one thing that degrades the device.

Response from Eileen Durfee: The device uses high frequency and the levels on the meter drop significantly at 40” from your body. Relocate the device to that safe distance and reap the benefits of clean oxygen rich air. The device doesn’t have a CDAR rating because it lacks a fan, however, if you close a room as large as 14’x14’ and go back in after a few hours and see how clean and fresh the air becomes. “I like this unit, it has improved my night time breathing. I have one complaint though, the indicator light is way too bright. In the dark it sort of lights up the room more than it should. We should be sleeping in a completely dark room for proper melatonin release, etc. I am not sure how anyone can put this unit close to their bed at night without the light affecting them. I had to put black tape over the light, and it still shines through. Also, the touch sensitive button can be changed by just bumping it, I think a slide button would be better with a less bright indicator light. Not meaning to sound too negative, I really like the unit, but I think some upgrades are in order.”

“I use this unit with a Vornado Portable fan blowing just over top of the five Ion ports... Its fills whatever space its in with that pleasant negative ion vibe which we find anywhere where water is blowing over water such as the beach for "good vibes." Those coming of anti depressants are also advised to get near any area which has abundant negative ion's as it can actually lead to calming the brain. I keep a small toothbrush handy as it seems I need to gently wipe the five metallic spikes one every couple days to get the device up to full flow. One can tell its functioning at optimal levels if you feel an even "cool" sensation just above each round port. With the unit sitting on a flat surface run your hand over the output ports. If you don't feel an even distribution of coolness on each port gently brush off the spikes with a toothbrush! Great product yet again Eileen ! ; >”
