Cleaner Appearance
Replace tubing that has become deeply stained, cloudy, or difficult to inspect.
Refresh your Enema Fix® Complete Enema Kit with replacement tubing designed with integrated fittings for the pump and compatible rectal or vaginal tips.
Coffee, minerals, oils, and repeated use can stain tubing over time. Replacing an older hose helps keep your system cleaner, easier to inspect, and more reliable during priming and use.
Coffee naturally contains pigments and oils that may darken flexible tubing. Staining alone does not always mean the hose has failed, but it can make it harder to inspect the inside of the tubing and confirm that it is fully clean.
Over time, repeated bending, washing, drying, and exposure to solutions may also affect the flexibility and fit of the hose. A fresh replacement hose helps restore a clean appearance and secure pump-to-tip connection.
Replace tubing that has become deeply stained, cloudy, or difficult to inspect.
Fresh tubing is easier to position without kinking, cracking, or resisting movement.
Secure fittings help prevent air from entering the line while the pump draws solution.
The replacement hose includes integrated adapters at both ends. One end connects to the Enema Fix® pump spigot, and the opposite end accepts a compatible rectal or vaginal tip.
Both connections must fit fully and tightly. A partial connection can leak, separate during pumping, or allow air to enter the line.
When the pump plunger rises, it creates negative pressure that draws solution through the straw and into the hose. A loose fitting allows room air to enter instead, which can interrupt suction, make the pump difficult to prime, and reduce fluid flow.
Make sure the jar is empty and the pump is not under pressure. Separate the old tubing from the pump and remove any tip from the opposite end.
Check that the spigot is clean, dry, smooth, and free of residue. Coffee oils or moisture can make the fitting slip or prevent a complete seal.
Hold the hose fitting straight in line with the pump spigot. Avoid attaching it at an angle, which can stretch one side and leave a gap.
Push firmly until the adapter is seated as far onto the pump spigot as designed. A connection that rests only on the tip of the spigot may leak or pull off.
Lubricant may prevent the tubing from gripping the spigot and can cause the hose to slide off under pressure.
A tight new fitting is often desirable because it contracts around the pump spigot and creates a secure seal. When the adapter is too firm to push completely into place, use brief, gentle warmth.
Excessive heat may weaken the tubing, distort the adapter, or create a poor seal. The fitting should become only slightly flexible—not hot, sticky, stretched, or misshapen.
A tip that is too small may leak or detach. A tip that is too large may split or permanently stretch the fitting.
A few initial air bubbles are normal. Continued air entry, weak suction, or fluid leaking around the adapter usually indicates a loose connection, incomplete seating, or damaged fitting.
Do not seal damp tubing inside a closed container. Trapped moisture can encourage odor and microbial growth.
