Why this rug is different
The quality and thickness of this rug are hard to find anywhere else. Just two layers of its fabric are about as thick as three layers of the fleece sold by most fabric outlets — a fluffy, soft, custom-mill organic bamboo fleece weighing 528 grams per square meter. Despite the density, it doesn’t feel rough the way many bamboo fabrics do, because it’s finished with a stone-washed manufacturing process. The result is a rug that stays soft against the skin while still absorbing the sweat from a full session.
Materials & safety
Organic, certified, and safe when heated
The fleece is an 80% organic bamboo and 20% organic cotton blend — a 100% organic bamboo-and-cotton fabric — bound with 100% cotton and finished with 10-inch cotton ties. It is certified organic and has passed flammability testing — you can review the organic certificate, flammability report, and SGS certificate on the fabric testing page. There are no harmful substances in the fabric, and it does not release fumes or chemicals into the air once heated inside the sauna.

Keeping it fresh
Care instructions
Machine wash the rug on warm and tumble dry on normal to high heat. The fabric is pre-washed before sewing, so shrinkage is minimal, though it may still shrink somewhat after washing. It performs flawlessly alongside the Sauna Fix® near-infrared sauna.
