From Nuclear Quality Engineering to Wellness Invention
Eileen Durfee’s professional foundation is unusual in the wellness industry. Before developing consumer health products, she worked in nuclear power as a quality engineer, inspector and auditor. That background emphasized traceability, documentation, testing, corrective action, root-cause analysis and the importance of designing systems that perform as intended.
She later worked in residential land development and home building, gaining additional experience in materials, construction, code requirements, product usability and the practical realities of bringing ideas into the physical world.
After facing her own health and structural challenges, Eileen began applying the same engineering mindset to wellness. Rather than accepting that people had to choose between expensive fixed equipment, temporary symptom management or confusing health claims, she began developing practical tools that could be used at home.

Eileen’s Experience: From Builder to Inventor
People sometimes ask me how someone who came out of the nuclear power plant industry ends up inventing wellness equipment. The honest answer is that I have always been a builder. During the nuclear power plant industry, I spent pretty much all my money on real estate, and that builder’s habit of studying how things go together and making them work never left me.
When it was my own health that needed rebuilding, I brought the same mindset to the problem. I just became the gizmo woman, trying everything, being my own guinea pig to try to get well. When the tool I needed did not exist, I would draw it in AutoCAD and print prototypes on my own 3D printer, refining the design until it worked on my own body.
Creatrix Solutions exists because I engineered my own way back to health and kept the tools. The line grew out of tools I built to solve problems I was living with, and that is still the standard I hold each new idea to today.

The Eileen Durfee Spinal Fitness™ Method
Spinal Fitness is one of Eileen Durfee’s most important bodies of work. It is built on the principle that the spinal column is a mechanical structure designed to function with balanced curves, controlled compression and coordinated muscular support.
When those curves flatten, reverse, rotate or become poorly supported, the body often compensates with excess muscular tension, reduced mobility, altered breathing, inefficient force transfer and greater strain during everyday movement.
The goal of Spinal Fitness is to teach people how to evaluate alignment, restore movement options, progressively load the spine and build the physical capacity required for better posture and function.

Sauna Fix® Near Infrared Sauna and Hot Exercise
Eileen Durfee developed Sauna Fix to solve several limitations of conventional home saunas: fixed seated positions, large permanent footprints, limited exercise space and the lack of a modular lamp-first option.
Sauna Fix systems use a four-bulb incandescent fixture with broad-spectrum output described by testing as approximately 550–3,000 nanometers. The system combines visible red light, near infrared, mid infrared and radiant heat.

Breathe Safe® Plasma Air Purifier
Breathe Safe is a compact plasma-ion air device designed for personal spaces. Product testing has measured ion production, oxygen changes and reductions in selected airborne contaminants under controlled conditions.
Chamber results should not be interpreted as a guaranteed increase in a person’s blood oxygen or as a replacement for medical oxygen, HEPA filtration, ventilation or clinical respiratory care.
Tri-Oxy® Water Ozonation
Tri-Oxy systems are designed to dissolve ozone into water for applications such as food washing, surface sanitation and water treatment.
Ozone is a powerful oxidant. Product instructions, ventilation, concentration, contact time and intended use must be followed carefully. Ozonated water should not be marketed as a cure for disease.
