How the Neck Shaper works
Neck Shaper 3.75" Hard Foam Roller
The patented Neck Shaper roll is a seven (7) inch-long foam roller and posture corrector. This is a lumbar roll designed with a groove for the spinous to float and supporting edges for the transverse process portion of the vertebrae. While lying over this foam roller for the neck, your tight muscles relax and vertebrae can shift into a more desirable location to improve spinal fitness. We recommend performing the Back-Twist exercise and lying over both properly sized lumbar rolls (the Neck and Back Shaper) to passively encourage ideal curvature and posture correction.
The Neck Shaper 3.75" diameter roll is available in three (3) densities: Soft, Medium, and Hard. We recommend everyone start out with the soft density. There are several diameters available, including:

We recommend reading the directions on how to perform the Back-Twist and to immediately lay over the spinal support lumbar rollers.
Size first, density second. The 3.75" diameter must match YOUR curve — that is what the Sizing Kit measures. Smaller diameters generally fit smaller frames and tighter curves; larger diameters fit larger frames and deeper curves — but measure, never guess.

The 3.75" Hard in the Neck Shaper system
This roller is maroon. Colour tells you the density at a glance across the Neck and Back Shaper rolls: blue is soft, orange is medium, maroon is hard.
Every Neck Shaper is a properly sized cervical roll you lie over to passively encourage the neck’s natural curve. The Hard density is the firmest tier — maximum shape retention for experienced users, and the choice of those who find softer rolls compress too much under them. Used consistently — brief daily lying in the correct position — the roll gives your spine a repeated reason to hold the shape it was built for. The mechanics behind it: loss of cervical lordosis.

My experience
When I started, I couldn’t lie over the rollers for the full 20 minutes. I began at 5 minutes and worked up as my body stopped guarding.
I still adjust. If I have exerted myself substantially — digging in the garden, a bunch of awkward heavy lifting, or something that wrenched my back — I reduce the roller diameter and soften the density. Some days I swap between three different sizes within a single 20-minute session.
