How the Neck Shaper works
Neck Shaper 3.25" Soft Foam Roller
The patented Neck Shaper roll is a foam roller that is seven (7) inches long and can be used as a posture corrector for spinal fitness. This lumbar roll is designed with a groove for the spinous to float and supporting edges for the transverse process portion of the vertebrae. While lying over this neck foam roller, your tight muscles relax and vertebrae can shift into a more desirable location. We recommend performing the Back-Twist exercise and lying over both properly sized Neck and Back Shaper foam rollers to passively encourage ideal curvature.
The Neck Shaper 3.25" diameter roll is available in three (3) densities: Soft, Medium, and Hard. We recommend everyone start out with the soft density. There are several diameters available, including:

To improve curvature of the spine an individual systematically increases the diameter and density of the rolls.

We recommend reading the directions on how to perform the Back-Twist and to immediately lay over the spinal support brace rolls.
Size first, density second. The 3.25" diameter must match YOUR curve — that is what the Sizing Kit measures. Smaller diameters generally fit smaller frames and tighter curves; larger diameters fit larger frames and deeper curves — but measure, never guess.

Density and colour
The 3.25" Soft in the Neck Shaper system
This roller is blue. Colour tells you the density at a glance across the Neck and Back Shaper rolls: blue is soft, orange is medium, maroon is hard.
Every Neck Shaper is a properly sized cervical roll you lie over to passively encourage the neck’s natural curve. The Soft density is the gentlest support tier — the right entry point if you are new to lying over a curve-restoration roll, prefer a softer feel, or are easing a sensitive back or neck into the practice. Used consistently — brief daily lying in the correct position — the roll gives your spine a repeated reason to hold the shape it was built for. The mechanics behind it: loss of cervical lordosis.

My experience
When I started, I couldn’t lie over the rollers for the full 20 minutes. I began at 5 minutes and worked up as my body stopped guarding.
I still adjust. If I have exerted myself substantially — digging in the garden, a bunch of awkward heavy lifting, or something that wrenched my back — I reduce the roller diameter and soften the density. Some days I swap between three different sizes within a single 20-minute session.

About self-skinning foam: Each roller is molded with a durable self-skinning surface. Slight color variation, faint lines, small surface imperfections, and tiny bubbles are natural characteristics of the self-skinning foam manufacturing process — they are cosmetic, unique to each piece, and do not affect performance or durability.

Is Soft too soft to do anything?
No — the size (diameter) does the curve-shaping work; density is about feel and durability under load. Soft supports the same curve with a gentler contact, which is exactly right while your body learns the position.
What if I bought the wrong size?
Sizing is the make-or-break variable, which is why the Sizing Kit exists — measure before you order. Foam rollers are non-returnable for hygiene reasons, so let the kit decide your diameter.
