Sauna Fix® Convertible Radiant Sauna Tent

Use one portable insulated enclosure for standing, seated, or lying-down sauna sessions.

The Convertible Radiant Sauna Tent is designed for customers who already own — or plan to purchase — a compatible Sauna Fix lamp. Reconfigure the same frame vertically, add the drop ceiling for seated use, or rotate it horizontally for a full-length reclining setup.

Lamp, bulbs, guards, glasses, chains, hooks, and rope ratchets are sold separately unless specifically included in the selected package.

Three Configurations

Three Configurations in One Tent

Standing

Full-Height Position

Use the enclosure upright when you want room to stand, rotate, or change position during radiant exposure.

Dimensions: 47 in D × 35.43 in W × 78 in H

Metric: 120 cm D × 90 cm W × 198 cm H

Seated

Drop-Ceiling Position

Install the horizontal insert to reduce chamber height and retain more heat around a seated user.

Approximate height: 60 in / 152 cm

Lying Down

Horizontal Position

Rotate the frame for a longer, lower enclosure suitable for full-length reclining sessions.

Dimensions: 78 in L × 35.43 in W × 47 in H

Metric: 198 cm L × 90 cm W × 120 cm H

The tent is an enclosure — not the sauna's heat source. Temperature, radiant exposure, and warm-up depend on the compatible lamp configuration, room conditions, partition use, ventilation, lamp placement, and session time.
Why This Tent

Why Choose the Convertible Tent?

Convertible Design

Use one enclosure instead of purchasing separate standing, seated, and lying-down tents.

Radiant Heat Retention

The insulated panels are designed to reduce heat loss and reflect radiant energy inward.

Portable Storage

The frame, flexible panels, bamboo mats, and accessories can be packed away when the room is needed for another purpose.

No Permanent Remodeling

The self-supporting frame does not require a built-in wooden room or permanent wall installation.

Wipe-Clean Interior

The smooth interior surfaces are intended to be easier to wipe down than absorbent fabric interiors.

Optional Grounding Setup

Compatible panels can be connected and grounded according to the supplied Faraday-style instructions.

Panel Construction

Panel Construction and Material Claims

The flexible panel system combines decorative exterior film, reflective layers, bubble insulation, and an interior film to provide insulation without the weight of a wooden cabinet.

Five-Layer Construction

  1. Wood-grain exterior film
  2. Reflective space-blanket layer
  3. Large-diameter bubble insulation
  4. Second reflective layer
  5. Smooth interior film

Practical Benefits

  • Flexible enough for packing and reconfiguration
  • R-15 insulation claim
  • Smooth, wipeable interior
  • Lower weight than permanent cabinetry
  • Compatible with multiple tent orientations

Heat Performance

Heat Performance With Compatible Lamps

Configuration Typical Use Expected Performance
One lamp, full enclosure Roomier standing or lying sessions Direct radiant warmth begins immediately and enclosure temperature rises progressively
One lamp with drop ceiling Smaller seated chamber May reach approximately 145°F under appropriate conditions
Two compatible lamps Higher-heat configuration May reach approximately 185°F under appropriate conditions
Published temperatures are configuration examples — not guarantees. Actual results depend on starting room temperature, ventilation, lamp output, electrical supply, spacing, thermometer location, partition use, and session duration. Use comfort and safety rather than maximum temperature as the goal.

Not included with the tent-only product

The Sauna Fix lamp, bulbs, guards, glasses, chains, hooks, rope ratchets, regional cords, stools, rugs, and second-lamp hardware are not included unless the selected product option explicitly says otherwise.

Flooring

Bamboo Floor Mats

The tent includes two natural bamboo mats with radiant backing and bound edges. Use one mat for standing or seated sessions, or connect both for the horizontal configuration.

  • Distribute body weight evenly.
  • Avoid narrow pointed stool or equipment feet that may damage the bamboo.
  • Allow new bamboo materials to air out before extended heated use.
  • Clean and dry the mats according to current care instructions.
  • Do not store the mats while damp.

Customers sensitive to natural bamboo odor may prefer the organic bamboo throw rug.

Faraday-Style Grounding Option

Optional Grounding Configuration

The included snap kit, when part of the selected package, allows compatible radiant panels to be electrically connected and grounded according to the supplied instructions.

Connection Quality Matters

Incomplete snaps, damaged connectors, or open panel gaps can affect performance.

Grounding Matters

The system must be connected to the intended grounding arrangement exactly as instructed.

Shielding Is Not Absolute

Performance varies by frequency, opening size, surroundings, and field type.

Safety and Care

Before and After Each Use

Before Each Use

  • Check frame stability, brackets, zippers, seams, and panel condition
  • Verify required lamp clearance
  • Keep the entry and exit unobstructed
  • Confirm the interior is dry
  • Remove damaged mats, panels, or connectors from service

After Each Use

  • Allow the lamp to cool before touching or moving it
  • Wipe perspiration from interior surfaces
  • Dry panels and bamboo mats completely
  • Ventilate the enclosure
  • Do not pack damp materials into storage bags

Never use the tent without following the lamp instructions

Incorrect bulb type, lamp placement, hanging hardware, electrical supply, or clearance can create burn, fire, electrical, or equipment-damage risks.

FAQ

Warranty

1-year limited warranty on the radiant tent. Each Sauna Fix® radiant sauna tent is covered for one year on workmanship, zippers, and sewing under normal use.

The warranty does not cover damage from misuse — ripped zipper binding, bent tent poles or brackets, or fabric punctures — nor scorched or melted panels caused by improper lamp use. Never let a sauna heat-lamp bulb rest in direct contact with the tent panels.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is a Sauna Fix lamp included?

No. This is the tent-only product. A compatible Sauna Fix lamp is sold separately unless the selected option explicitly states otherwise.

Can the same tent be used standing, seated, and lying down?

Yes. The frame can be configured vertically or horizontally, and the included drop ceiling creates the smaller seated chamber.

Does the tent generate heat by itself?

No. The tent is an insulated enclosure. A compatible lamp or approved heat source is required.

Does it require preheating?

With a Sauna Fix lamp, direct radiant warmth begins immediately while the enclosure temperature rises over time.

How hot can it get?

A one-lamp partitioned setup may reach approximately 145°F, and a two-lamp setup may reach approximately 185°F under appropriate conditions. Results vary.

Is the tent portable?

Yes. The frame, panels, mats, and accessories can be packed into the included storage bags.

Can it be used as a Faraday-style enclosure?

The snap kit allows compatible panels to be connected and grounded according to the instructions. Shielding performance varies and does not provide complete protection from all EMF.

Are the panels non-toxic?

The panels and the completed tent assembly have an approve RoHS test certificate, meeting European non-toxic safety standards.

Is the interior mold-proof?

No enclosure should be described as mold-proof. Smooth surfaces may be easier to clean, but perspiration and moisture still need to be removed and the tent must be dried thoroughly.

How difficult is assembly?

The self-supporting frame is designed to assemble without permanent construction. Follow the current instructions carefully, especially when changing orientation.

Can I hang the lamp inside the tent?

Use only the approved lamp placement and hanging methods described in the current lamp and tent instructions. Hanging hardware generally comes with qualifying lamp purchases rather than the tent alone.

Where can I review product testing?

Use the direct Sauna Fix Testing page for the available reports and certificates.
