The tent is a configurable enclosure, not a heat-producing appliance. Radiant exposure and ambient temperature depend on the number of compatible lamps, partition use, room conditions, ventilation, placement, electrical supply, and session duration.
Why This Tent

Why Choose the Larger Exercise Tent?

Movement-Friendly Length

The full enclosure provides more usable floor space than a chair-style portable sauna.

Adjustable Chamber Size

Use the included partitions to reduce the heated volume for standing or seated sessions.

Active or Passive Sessions

Use the same enclosure for gentle movement, recovery, breathwork, meditation, or quiet sauna use.

No Permanent Construction

The self-supporting frame avoids built-in walls and permanent cabinetry.

Portable Storage

The frame, panels, partitions, bamboo mat, and accessories can be packed into the included bags.

One- or Two-Lamp Compatibility

Choose compatible lamp coverage according to the approved configuration and desired heat level.

Heated Exercise

Appropriate Uses and Limits

Better Choices Inside the Tent

  • Gentle yoga with stable transitions
  • Controlled stretching and mobility
  • Walking in place at a conservative pace
  • Light resistance-band work
  • Floor-based posture and recovery exercises
  • Breathwork and meditation

Avoid Inside the Tent

  • Maximal lifting or high-intensity intervals
  • Unstable balance challenges
  • Rapid direction changes
  • Heavy overhead equipment
  • Activities that approach the lamps or block the exit
  • Training alone when fainting or heat intolerance is a concern

Related infrared-exercise research is not a product guarantee

Studies involving water-filtered infrared-A or supervised exercise protocols use different equipment, wavelengths, dosing, and monitoring. They may provide background context but do not prove a specific fat-loss or medical outcome from this tent.

Panel Construction

Radiant Panel Construction

The flexible panels are designed to retain heat better than thin fabric enclosures while remaining portable and reconfigurable.

Five-Layer Construction

  1. Wood-grain exterior film
  2. Reflective space-blanket layer
  3. Large-diameter bubble insulation
  4. Second reflective layer
  5. Smooth interior film

Practical Advantages

  • R-15 insulation claim
  • Smooth wipeable interior
  • Flexible, packable panels
  • Lower weight than a wooden enclosure
  • Compatible with partitioned configurations

Material, VOC, RoHS, and fire-rating claims need precise support

RoHS testing addresses specified restricted substances; it is not a blanket guarantee that all materials are harmless in every circumstance. "Zero VOC," "non-toxic," and Class A claims should be tied to the exact tested coating, panel, or material report. Smooth surfaces may be easier to clean, but the tent must still be dried and maintained to prevent odor or microbial growth.

Not included with the tent-only product

Sauna Fix lamp fixtures, bulbs, guards, glasses, cords, chains, hooks, rope ratchets, exercise equipment, stools, rugs, second-lamp hardware, and air-treatment accessories are sold separately unless explicitly included in the selected option.

Flooring

Bamboo Exercise Mat

The included bamboo exercise mat rolls or folds for transport and storage. Its radiant backing is designed to reduce heat loss at floor level.

  • Distribute body weight evenly.
  • Avoid narrow pointed stool or equipment feet.
  • Use only stable exercise equipment that fits without blocking the exit.
  • Allow new bamboo materials to air out before extended heated use.
  • Dry the mat fully before storing it.
Heat Performance

Heat Performance With Compatible Lamps

Configuration Typical Use Expected Performance
One lamp, full tent Roomy yoga, stretching, and movement Direct radiant warmth begins immediately and temperature rises progressively
One lamp with partitions Smaller standing or seated chamber May reach approximately 145°F under appropriate conditions
Two compatible lamps Broader radiant coverage and higher heat May reach approximately 170°F under appropriate conditions
Exercise intensity should decrease as chamber temperature increases. Higher heat increases cardiovascular and thermal strain. Use shorter sessions, lower intensity, more stable movements, and earlier stopping thresholds than you would at room temperature.
Assembly and Use

Setting Up the Tent

1

Choose the configuration

Decide whether the session needs the full tent, divided standing chambers, or seated chamber.

2

Assemble the frame

Connect poles and brackets according to the current diagram and verify stability.

Attach the panels and zipper entry

Align openings and seams correctly.

4

Install partitions when needed

Confirm the middle and ceiling panels are secured in the approved positions.

5

Place the bamboo mat

Keep the floor level, dry, and clear of trip hazards.

6

Add compatible lamps separately

Follow lamp placement, clearance, electrical, and eye-safety instructions.

7

Keep the exit accessible

FAQ

Warranty

1-year limited warranty on the radiant tent. Each Sauna Fix® radiant sauna tent is covered for one year on workmanship, zippers, and sewing under normal use.

The warranty does not cover damage from misuse — ripped zipper binding, bent tent poles or brackets, or fabric punctures — nor scorched or melted panels caused by improper lamp use. Never let a sauna heat-lamp bulb rest in direct contact with the tent panels.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is a Sauna Fix lamp included?

No. This is the tent-only product. Compatible Sauna Fix lamps are sold separately unless the selected option explicitly states otherwise.

Can the tent be divided into two chambers?

Yes. The middle partition creates two smaller standing chambers. The ceiling partition can create a compact seated chamber.

Does the tent generate heat?

No. It is an insulated enclosure. One or two compatible lamp fixtures are required.

Does it require preheating?

With compatible lamps, direct radiant warmth begins immediately while the enclosure temperature rises over time.

How hot can it get?

A one-lamp partitioned setup may reach approximately 145°F, while a two-lamp configuration may reach approximately 170°F under appropriate conditions. Results vary.

Can I perform a high-intensity workout inside?

No. Keep exercise conservative and avoid maximal intervals, heavy lifting, unstable movements, and activities that increase fall or collision risk.

Can two people use the tent?

The divided or full enclosure may physically accommodate shared use, but both users need sufficient clearance, an accessible exit, compatible lamp placement, suitable heat tolerance, and appropriate eye protection.

Are the panels non-toxic?

Use the applicable material and RoHS reports to describe specific findings. Avoid treating "non-toxic" as an unlimited guarantee.

Is the tent portable?

Yes. The frame, panels, partitions, bamboo mat, and accessories can be packed into the included bags.

Can it be shipped internationally?

Shipping availability, charges, insurance, duties, taxes, and delivery methods vary by destination. Confirm current options before purchase.

Where can I review testing?

Use the direct Sauna Fix Testing page for available reports and certificates.

Where are the assembly instructions?

Use the Hot Exercise Tent assembly page.
